Custom Tables for Moon & June

Some collaborations feel natural from the very beginning.

When my dear friend and fellow entrepreneur Joanna launched her Swiss 0% aperitif brand, Moon & June, I immediately loved the idea behind it: a beautifully crafted, alcohol-free drink made for slow evenings, sunny weekends, and those small moments when we all deserve to pause. It quickly became my own go-to evening relaxation drink and sunny weekend aperitif.

But what I loved just as much was the visual world Joanna had created around Moon & June. The branding is bold, warm, playful and full of vibrant colour, exactly the kind of energy that makes you want to gather, taste, celebrate and enjoy.

And because we both believe that beautiful products deserve beautiful surroundings, we started thinking about how ÉTAUDORÉ could bring this world to life in furniture.

The idea: tables made for a brand experience

Joanna needed tables that could showcase Moon & June in a way that felt true to the brand. They had to be eye-catching and distinctive, but also practical. The tables would need to move easily from one setting to another, from content creation at home, to product styling, videos, photoshoots and trade shows.

So the brief was clear: create a small set of custom side tables that would feel like an extension of the Moon & June identity. Beautiful enough to become part of the visual story, light and practical enough to be carried wherever the brand goes.

Matching the Moon & June colours

The first step was colour.

Together with our powder-coated steel artisan DESIVA in Poland, we started by matching the Moon & June brand colours to our palette of 50 powder-coated steel finishes. We compared the tones from the label and selected the colours that came closest to the brand’s distinctive mix of soft sand, iris purple, deep Prussian blue, ruby, and warm brick red.

This part of the process was especially exciting because colour is such a powerful part of the Moon & June identity. The tables could not be neutral background pieces. They needed to carry the same joyful, confident energy as the bottle itself.

Designing the custom set

Once the colours were selected, we moved on to the shape and combinations.

We wanted the tables to feel organic and soft, with playful rounded forms that would complement the colourful Moon & June universe without competing with the product. After exploring several ideas, we settled on a set of two organic-shaped side tables in different heights.

The taller table was designed with an iris-coloured top and ruby legs. The smaller table was made with a ruby-coloured top and brick-coloured legs. Together, they create a layered, sculptural composition that feels vibrant but still elegant.

It was such a fun process: testing colour combinations, imagining how the tables would look with the bottles and drinks, and thinking about how Joanna could use them flexibly in different settings.

The final result

The finished tables came out beautifully.

They are colourful, distinctive and instantly connected to the Moon & June world, while still staying true to the ÉTAUDORÉ approach: made-to-order pieces, created by skilled artisans, with a strong focus on quality, function and thoughtful design.

Most importantly, they are not just decorative. They are practical brand tools: easy to carry, easy to style, and versatile enough to be used for product displays, content creation, events and trade shows.

For me, this collaboration is a perfect example of what custom furniture can do. It can support a brand, tell a story, create atmosphere and make a product feel even more memorable.

And on a personal note, working on this project with Joanna made it even more special. There is something very beautiful about two women, two friends, and two Swiss brands joining forces to create something that feels truly personal.

Custom furniture for brands, interiors and special projects

At ÉTAUDORÉ, we love working on custom pieces like this, whether for private homes, interior designers, hospitality spaces or brands looking for something unique.

From colours and dimensions to shapes, materials and finishes, each piece can be adapted to the story it needs to tell.

And sometimes, that story begins with a bottle of Moon & June, a sunny terrace, and a shared belief that life is better when we make space for beautiful moments.
